LP – Eesti Päevaleht

LP is a weekend edition of Eesti Päevaleht, one of the biggest local newspapers in Estonia. Personal interviews, fashion and technology news, arts and culture reviews, cartoons and crossword, etc. – all this makes the weekend paper a pleasant read.

I was commissioned to create the identity, icons, visual language and editorial template system that reflects the weekend papers easy going approach.

It is common for readers to look through the images first before reading the actual article. To enhance and lighten this experience, inner pages are designed so that text flows up from the bottom and pictures cascade down from the top of the page.
